Security and GDPR
How is data security handled on Onboardia?
Data encryption
All connections to Onboardio are secured via the HTTPS protocol, which encrypts the data flow between the client and the server. The data itself is then stored in an encryption-secured database. We use the world leader in cloud infrastructure, Amazon Web Services, to run Onboardio. It is known not only for its high reliability, but also for using the highest possible data security measures and is therefore a frequent choice among corporations and governments around the world.Access rights
All data access is protected by a user role-based mechanism - users can only access data for which they have permissions. Each company also has its own dedicated database. It is therefore not possible for a user to view data other than their own organisation's data. All user passwords are securely encrypted - passwords are not stored anywhere as plain text, so no one can view them, not even us. In practice, this means that if you forget your password, the only solution is to reset it. You can do this at any time on the login page.Access to customer data
All persons who may have access to sensitive or personal data are subject to our internal privacy policy, which sets out their security obligations.Backups
All data is backed up regularly within Amazon Web Services cloud storage.Loss or alteration of your data
Unfortunately, 100% security can never be guaranteed with any method of transmitting information over the internet. At Onboardio, we do our best to protect your organization's data, but cannot by nature guarantee the security of information as it is transferred from you to us. However, once we receive your data, you can rely on us to make every effort to ensure its security on our systems.
